Become a Volunteer for our Chapter
IIBA Volunteerism Activities
Volunteers are the foundation that keeps IIBA® going! As an IIBA Greater Atlanta Chapter volunteer you will create new relationships, expand your knowledge, achieve recognition, and develop new skills. Serving as a volunteer of IIBA GAC will give you an opportunity to actively participate in new areas of the profession of Business Analysis, and to contribute to the development and future growth of this rapidly growing international organization. Additionally, as an IIBA GAC volunteer you will make great professional contacts, expand your knowledge and develop your leadership skills.
There are several opportunities to get involved and volunteer to support the IIBA GAC. Once a month, we have our chapter meeting where volunteers are needed to greet our guests, assist with check-in process, and meeting logistics. Annually, we host a BA boot camp and volunteers are needed to support planning and execution activities. Similar volunteer tasks are available during the CBAP / CCBA study group. The mentoring program is also a great way to give back and help other fellow BA members excel in their careers.
There are always opportunities to get involved and actively participate in our local chapter. Please come back and visit the IIBA site for the latest volunteer opportunities. Volunteer hours can be used for CDUs for Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) or Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®).
